Rosa damascena Mill is a shrub plant belonging to the genus Rosaceae. Our country has a long history Dried Flower Petals Bulk of cultivating this plant. Adaptation of Golmohammadi to our country’s climatic conditions, the existence of a long-standing culture of production and consumption, prosperity and demand of global markets for Iranian products, and consequently job creation and currency, are among the issues that require special attention to this plant.
Exportable Quality for Dried Flower Petals
In order to study the diversity and relationship between flower yield and its components, 12 Rosa damascena Mill genotypes from different parts of the country were planted in the form of complete randomized block design with three replications at Damavand Absard Research Station and for flower yield. And the yield components were examined in three irrigated crops (control), rainfed and rainfed with mulch.
In rainy conditions, the number of flowers in the base, the weight ratio of petals to full flowers, essential oil per hectare and the percentage of essential oil with an explanation coefficient of 91.7%, in the wet conditions, the weight ratio of petals to full flowers and the plant environment with an explanation coefficient of 98.6% And in the conditions of cultivation along with mulch, essential oil yield, essential oil percentage, plant height,dried flower arrangements leaf weight to full flower ratio and number of flowers with 90.6% explanation coefficient justified the most changes in flower yield.
According to causal analysis results, wet petal weight had the most direct effect on flower yield in all three cultivation conditions and because its value and direction were almost the same with the overall effect (correlation coefficient), it was recognized as the most important attribute in increasing flower yieldTherefore, they can be used as an indicator of choice to improve flower yield
Dried Flower Petals for Traders
During the flowering period, the number of flowers, the weight of the flower, the percentage of the dry matter of the flower, the ratio of the weight of the petals to the full flower, the height of the plant and the environment of the plant (crown cover) were recorded bulk dyed dried flowers. After collecting the data, correlation, regression and causality were analyzed.
Although the number of flowers per hectare, essential oil yield per hectare, plant height and plant environment did not play a direct role in increasing the yield, but indirectly through increasing the weight of the petals played an important role in increasing the yield of Mohammadi flower. The results of correlation analysis showed that flower yield had a positive and significant correlation in all three conditions with wet weight of petals. Using step-by-step regression analysis, the contribution of each of the factors affecting bulk dyed dried flowers yield was determined.
